SARASOTA, FL – Florida Governor Rick Scott announced appointments to the Judicial Nominating Commissions for a term beginning March 13, 2015 and ending July 1, 2018.  Among the appointees for the Twelfth Circuit is Hunter G. Norton of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP.

Hunter G. Norton is a member of the litigation practice group in the Sarasota, Florida office.  Hunter focuses his practice on business, construction, and civil litigation.  Prior to beginning his legal career, Hunter was a Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Air Force.  Hunter received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law and his B.S., cum laude, from Excelsior College.
